Pleasant Journey to Barry Island

Barry Island is located in the Vale of Glamorgan about 10 miles south of the capital city Cardiff, South Wales, UK. It has two beautiful beaches. Because, this popular seaside can be easily reached by train from Cardiff, it attracts a lot of local people and tourism especially in summer days.

We went to Barry Island from Treforest by train on March 11th. Two lovely teachers, Jeanette and Annabel, were our leaders. Our journey started at 12:40 pm. It took about one hour to reach the island. We walked 10 minutes from Barry Island train station to the beaches. It was a very quiet and nice place. When we arrived near the beaches, we saw picturesque sceneries. We took a lot of pictures. All of the students were very exited and happy. We walked around two beautiful and fantastic beaches. Besides, there are some cozy  restaurants and coffee shops near the beach. I really enjoyed this pleasant trip and I have decided to go there with my fiance and my sister in summer. I think in the summer both of the beaches will be very crowded .

Child Benefit

Child Benefit is one of the welfare system and a tax-free payment that is paid to families who have children under 16 and live in the UK. The payment rate is different for each child .Moreover it is usually paid monthly or weekly. The following table illustrates these rates:

Who the allowance is for                                  Current  monthly amount

Eldest or only child                               £81.20

  Additional                                              £53.60
children-per child

Guardian’s Allowance                           £57.20

Furthermore, if both of a child's parents die,the person who cares the child can get this payment which is called "Guardian Alloance".

In Iran, there is not child benefit system. In my oppinon this kind of welfare system is very helpful for many families especially who don't have enought mony to support their children.
